New Jonas song “Heart and Soul,” part of upcoming Disney Channel movie “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam,” unfolds as a roadhouse boogie in the tradition of Bob Seger’s “Old Time Rock and Roll.” The song’s lyrics praise the onstage charisma of David Lee Roth and Mick Jagger as being more valuable than a musician’s technical skills.
Truth be told, the Jonas Brothers didn’t have to do much of anything for the crowd to shriek with rapture Friday night at Mohegan Sun, and they knew it. “You guys will scream at anything!” Joe Jonas remarked during the concert.
All the same, the trio worked to earn the adulation, roaming around the stage, mugging for fans and issuing a steady stream of standard-issue concert banter.
Disney band sensation Jonas Brothers have been nominated for the Billboard/Eventful 2009 Fans’ Choice Award for Concert of the Year. They compete for the award against such contenders as Beyonce Knowles, AC/DC, Britney Spears, Coldplay, Kenny Chesney, Metallica and U2.

Queen’s We Will Rock You blasted over the P.A. as the Jonas Brothers took the stage at the Bell Center last night.
And while most of the 21,000 fans in attendance may not have gotten the reference, they got the message. For the next 100 minutes, Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas brought the full entertainment package to their tween/teen, mostly female audience.
Honor Society has been releasing infectious pop-rock tunes since 2005, but the band’s goal of releasing an album always remained out of reach.
Never underestimate the power of teenage girls in love with a band. When the Jonas Brothers play Scotiabank Place on Monday, three young women in the audience will be high-fiving each other on a job well done.

Currently they are on tour with the Jonas Brothers but also simultaneously headlining they’re own tour called The Full Moon Crazy Tour.

As the Jonas Brothers have gotten older, their fans apparently have gotten younger: Much of the predominantly female crowd at tonight’s concert in Nationwide Arena appeared to be younger than 8 years old.
